Top Two Uses For SniperSpy Mac

There are a number of reasons why someone would use SniperSpy Mac software. Here are the top two.

Child Monitoring - This hybrid monitoring software enables you to see exactly what your kids or teenager is doing during their Internet sessions. Are they visiting inappropriate websites? Are they conversing with predators? Today you will know for sure. View everything they do on Facebook, MySpace and elsewhere in real time.
Compare the other remote monitoring titles on the market to SniperSpy Mac. You will find that only SniperSpy allows you to view the remote computer’s screen in real time. SniperSpy also gives you a visual representation of the activity. You will have an actual picture of the active window at an interval you set. Browsing thumbnails of actual jpg snapshots is much easier to understand and provides better proof. Not to mention the LIVE keystroke viewer!

In addition, only SniperSpy can fully bypass ANY firewall. Other remote spy software triggers a firewall alert which stops the upload. But with SniperSpy you can remotely deploy and upload in any version of Windows, including Vista or 7! Expose the Truth With SniperSpy Mac Today.

SniperSpy Mac System Requirements

After deployment you should wait some time until the remote user reads their email and runs the module. This can be minutes or hours. Once they run the module their activity will start showing in your account within fifteen minutes. You can log into your account anytime to check for results. If no results are showing then the module hasn’t been executed yet.

Logging Into Your Account
When you are ready to login to your account to check logs, enter your username and password into the login fields on the main and login pages of our site at www.sniperspy.com. Be sure to enter your username and password EXACTLY as you did upon account creation. Your username and password are case-sensitive.

Please Note: If you experience a slight delay when logging in, then let the page keep loading. Logs are fetched from the server at each login. If your login isn’t instant then its because the server is fetching records. If you have an unusually large amount of records you might need to refresh the page to gain access.

Inside Your Account
Once you are inside your account, your screen should look something like the one below. Inside your account there are three groups of commands on the left side. Each group contains a specific set of commands. These groups are outlined below.

Log Viewers
This is where you view all activities and access the LIVE Control Panel.

Tools/Utilities
Various log utilities, password change, system info and uninstall.

The menu at the top of the online control panel also contains links to various important commands.

Log Viewers
Each type of recording is saved into a separate log section for your convenience. All log viewer pages work the same. You can sort results by any column by pressing the sort arrow icon. You can clear all logs within each category by clicking the Clear Logs button. You can also select to show only a specific user’s results if there are multiple users on your remote PC.

You can do a global search of logs in your account for any keyword you wish. Simply click the Search Logs link in the Tools section of the menu. Then enter your query. Results will be displayed for any matches found in ANY log type!

Using the LIVE Control Panel
To use the LIVE Control Panel feature of SniperSpy, click the link at the left menu inside your account. You will then be brought to the connection screen. If your remote PC is online, you will be connected within one minute. Once connected the LIVE Control Panel interface will appear on your screen. There you can click any command in the left menu to be performed on the remote PC. Each time you issue a command it will be sent to your remote PC immediately. Then within 30 seconds your screen will refresh with a status update of the last command sent.

Please be aware that there are two different groups of commands in the left menu. The ADMIN commands are stealth commands. The CONTROL commands are for certain situations only. The CONTROL commands could cause your remote user to become suspicious that a monitoring program is installed if they are unaware. Therefore you should use these commands with caution. This includes sending a message, locking the mouse, launching a URL or application, hiding the taskbar and other commands that the user will see the effect.

The LIVE screen viewer is now one of the ADMIN commands. Click the View Desktop link in the menu. When you are ready to stop viewing the screen, close the window. The LIVE Keystroke Viewer works the same way as the LIVE screen viewer.

Very Important Note: Anytime you are finished with the LIVE Control Panel, be sure to click the “LOGOUT” link on the page to tell the remote machine to go out of LIVE mode and begin sending logs again. If you simply close your browser then your account will remain in LIVE mode and will not send logs until you re-login and then log back out. If your logs have stopped, 99% of the time you just need to logout of your account.

Deleting Logs
The log files within each logging category can be deleted by clicking the Clear Logs button on a log page. You can also select multiple files for deletion at once. Additionally you can choose to clear ALL logs by clicking the appropriate link in the Tools / Utilities section of the left menu. Only erase logs if you are sure you want them erased. They cannot be recovered!

System Information
SniperSpy saves the latest system information from your remote computer. To access this powerful feature click the System Information command in the Tools menu.. You will be shown the most recent system statistics and info about the remote PC.

Change Password
Changing your password is very easy and can be done at any time. It will not interfere with the operation of SniperSpy on the remote PC. To change your password, go to your online control panel and click the Change Password link in the Tools section at left. Insert the appropriate fields and click submit. Your password will then be changed.

Configure SniperSpy
You can adjust module settings from within the online control panel. Click the Configure SniperSpy link in the left menu. Then adjust your settings accordingly and click Save. The settings will be changed on your remote module at the next connection which is usually within six minutes if the PC is online.

Removing SniperSpy
When you want to remove SniperSpy from your remote PC, login to your online control panel. Then click the Uninstall SniperSpy link in the Tools section. Then click YES to confirm. Your account will then be deactivated for new logs. The software will then remove itself the next time it makes a connection. PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to deploy again you will need to first reactivate your account in your control panel BEFORE you deploy again.

Now that you have created your module you will need to install (deploy) it onto your remote computer. The information in this section will assist you in deploying to your remote PC. For help on installing onto your local PC (a PC you can walk up to) then please see this section.

The most common method of deployment is by emailing the attachment to your remote computer. In this example we use the Outlook Express program to send the email.

Step One: Create a New Email
Open your email program. Click the create mail button from within the program. Then choose your email From and To addresses. The To: address would be an address on your remote PC.

Step Two: Enter Email Contents
Type a subject and regular email text as you see fit. Remember that to stay within our licensing agreement you will not monitor adults using your remote PC without notifying them that they are being monitored.

Step Three: Insert Attachment
Click “Attach” and navigate to and select the module file you created. It will be saved in the location you chose when you created your module. The module file can be named whateveryouwish.exe

Step Four: Click Send
After you have filled in the appropriate files, entered a subject and email contents and have inserted the module attachment, click the Send button to send the email to the remote computer.

Step Five: Wait for Installation
After you have sent the email then you will need to wait until the remote user runs the program. After they have executed the module then it will silently install and start uploading results so you can view activity.

More on Deployment via Email
Some email clients block .exe attachments. But thats not a problem because you can simply place your exe module inside of a Zip file, Word file or Wordpad document. You would then attach the Zip or Word/Wordpad file containg the module instead of the module itself. The user will then get the attachment and the deployment process can begin. Please note that it is your responsibility to get the user to execute the attachment on your remote PC. We do not honor refunds due to refusal to run the module.

Anti-Virus Information
Due to the increased demand for remote monitoring products, anti-virus and anti-spyware software label some of them as potentially unwanted programs. We attempt to stay ahead of the anti-virus software, however, they are becoming increasingly more aggressive. Fortunately, there is a workaround. If you suspect our software will be detected by an anti-virus software on the monitored PC, then we suggest you locally deploy SniperSpy and then configure the anti-virus software to exclude our software from future virus scans. Our customer support team can help you with this process. Any time our software is known to be detected we will work to ensure an update is released that will eliminate the problem. All anti-virus programs include a way you can EXCLUDE or IGNORE. We also include step-by-step instructions for:

Norton Anti-Virus / Internet Security

Mcafee VirusScan / Internet Security

Spy Sweeper Anti-Spyware

Avast 4 Home Edition

Local Deployment (Optional)
If you need to install to your local (current) computer instead of your remote computer, then the process is simple. Simply open My Computer (or simply “Computer” in Vista) and navigate to the folder in which you saved your module. Double-click the module filename to execute it. Nothing will appear on the screen as the software is installed. The user notification will come up at reboot if you chose that option when creating your module.

To get started, go to your order email and there will be a link to download the module creator program. Click the link and install this small program. Once you are inside the module creator your screen will look something like the screen shown in the outline below.

The module creator consists of five screens which you can navigate by clicking BACK or NEXT on the program itself. Follow the five screens (steps) as outlined below. The program also includes instructions on each step.
Step 1: Validate Account
Enter the username and password you created during registration.

Step 2: Logging Settings
Choose the activities you wish to monitor.

Step 3: Alert Options
Choose whether or not to alert the user and Anti program blocking.

Step 4: Create Module
Click browse and choose a location and name to save your module.

Step 5: Setup Complete
The module is ready to be deployed. Don’t execute it by accident!

Remember where you saved the module and don’t run the module on your local computer. If you execute the module on your local machine then it will record the activity of that PC. You would then need to uninstall SniperSpy through the control panel before deploying.

When you are ready to deploy then proceed to the next section for deployment methods.
